Moon Eclipse - just before sunrise

This is the last picture I took before it became too bright to see much. It's pretty close to being a full eclipse.
Taken with a Canon T2i, Tamron 18-270 lens, zoomed to 270., cropped in the GIMP.

Moon Eclipse from the front yard

You can start to see the orange glow as the earth's shadow moves across the moon's face.

Full Moon Reflection - Yellow Cliffs

The full moon was so bright that it reflected light from the Yellow Cliffs, no flashlight required for a walk at 10 PM.  In the background is the Big Dipper, the North Star, and Cassiopeia. Picture taken with a Sony a500 DSLR and Sigma wide-angle lens.

Big Dipper from the Bonneville Salt Flats

I painted the salt with my LED flashlight. Beyond lie the Silver Island mountains and the Big Dipper.
(Taken with a Canon T2i Camera, Tamron 18-270 lens, 1600 ISO, F3.5, 30-second exposure, about 25 degress F.)
